I ceased self-employment on 31 March 2022 and am now retired. Any new work would likely need to be both specialist and unpaid.

I am unnerved at the very weak engagement of the hydrological community (and others) with the planned Abingdon Reservoir aka SESRO. • Collective risk problems — a special research area of relevance to reinsurers, regulators and record-breakers

• Exploratory data analysis and problem-solving in applied hydrology — a bit of a catch-all

Whilst developing and interpreting historical flood data remains a specialism, drought severity assessment was my most recent area of R & D.
