Charge rates

My basic charge rate remains at £450/day + VAT.

Lower rates apply to:

• jobs which principally exploit my English language skills (e.g. reviewing drafts, technical editing)
• routine work (e.g. data extraction)
• research work leading to scientific publication

Higher rates apply to:

• jobs outside the UK
• any job related to a dispute
  (not just those where counsel or solicitors briefed)

I charge for travel, subsistence & other expenses specific to the job at cost, but will sometimes agree an all-in price.

All my work for UK customers attracts VAT (currently 17.5%). My VAT number is 775 3125 24.
